Title: Getting Started with AeQ

1. Set up http://www.eqemulator.org/account
EQEmulator Forums
EQEmulator is an open-source Everquest emulation project for creating custom Everquest servers.

2. Download AEQ from here:

AEQUf.zip

3. Unzip AEQUF folder to your hard drive somewhere, then find the eqgame.exe file within and make a shortcut to this file on your desktop

4. Edit the shortcut to match this image (ensure the path designated in 'target' and 'start in' matches the folder path where you unzipped AEQ)

-NOTE: If your path contains spaces, wrap he path in quotes, example below:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\EverQuest\eqgame.exe" patchme

5. Visit #patch-files and download the latest updates in AEQ's Discord such as DB, Spell file updates, ect ect
