Bugs will be available until Sat., 4/27. He will take all the uncollected Easter Eggs with him. Please complete your shopping & egg collection. Bugs (or a relative) will be “spotted”  (get it?) again next Easter!

Good morning wonderful AEQ Valentines!

Three announcements!

1) The last day the candy hearts will drop is 2/21 (no change). However,
 the candy heart merchants (Valentino, Valentina, & Romeo) will remain in EC another week to give everyone ample time to make purchases

2) Reaver and I will be implementing an exchange vendor that will allow a trade of yellow or pink hearts for purple ones.  Instead we added the exchange options to the existing vendors.

3) All Valentine items will be purchasable with the purple hearts! YAY! Prices for the different level of augs will be staggered. The best ones will cost the most

We are going to try to get this done today!

Thanks for the feedback so we can make adjustments on the event!

One more thing... if you have eaten any of your candy hearts, they will not be replaced!

To ensure everyone has a chance to be a happy valentine, PLEASE check your UI to ensure yours has the following:

In game
1) Inventory ("I")
2) Select the "Alt. Currency" tab
3) Ensure you have this text at the bottom of this window: Show currencies that you don't have.
4) There should also be a check box by that text (which will display all the currencies available in game.. so far)

We aren't going to bore you with a detailed spreadsheet, but we still want our community to know what we are working on. So this is my attempt at a high level summary. Ask if you have questions!

1) Bugs and issues reported by players & those discovered by staff - we have about 40-50 items to address right now. We view this work as an ongoing effort: we knock out some and we gather a few more. Normal stuff as we work towards perfection

2) I don't care for icky lizards myself, but our community wants IKSARS! We expect this effort to be complete before the next major content release. (Yes, that timeline is vague.. we are trying to work fast AND deliver a quality player experience!)

3) No promises yet, but we are doing our best to roll out a Valentine Holiday questline (probably less tradeskills).

4) Eldarian is working like a crazy man on epics! Lots of quest work still to tackle, but he has eaten plenty of spinach lately so no need to worry!

5) Still working on newbie quests -- we still have scripts that do not align with the class or some with no scripts at all.

This list isn't everything, but gives you an idea of some of the things we are working on!

On 10/27 Eldarian announced the following in a player meeting:

The Bazaar area will be located in the East Commons Tunnel and players will be able to sell even if AFK [bazaar fashion]. Upon implementation, guards will be placed in this area to protect sellers and customers from any potential trains. It is unlikely this enhancement will be available at initial launch, but the AFK bazaar system is one of the higher priority features.

I have asked that a banker be located in this area as well.
