I just used a research binder and combined a quill, 3 parchments, the anchor, and focus stone.
I got the 3 druid spells but they are all level 255 and unusable, also the task never completed the final stage.

I did the task a second time to be sure and got the same results.

I've been hunting poachers in Jaggedpine for awhile and can add that the named do still drop magic items besides the leather/chain neck/boots.

Zed still drops the clicky illusion mask rarely, but it's not clickable from inventory.
Elisha still rarely drops the stampede sword and the proc has been improved greatly, I can't wait to start using it on my ranger.
Killed Vaurian a dozen times with no drops, killed the other one (can't remember the name) a few times with no drops.

Oh and the Timber griffons still drop the nice range wisdom item rarely (griffawns don't).

Bugs: Quests, Recipes, or GamePlay / a giant anaconda faction hits

I decided to hunt some giant anacondas in jaggedpine forest and got agro from a wolf and took a faction hit for killing the anaconda. It seems the anacondas are on critters of jaggedpine faction, I'm not sure if this change was on purpose or not. I can remember moving from griffons to anacondas while hunting on live without issues, and an anaconda skin is needed for at least one quest i know of and as far as I know critters of jaggedpine is an un-repairable faction.
