I ran into this also when trying to Scribe "Savage Spirit" (Level 41 Spell).
Was a fix found for this spell.
When attempting to Scribe to book, it acts as though it is not even a Spell.
No message saying "already scribed" or "must be xx level"

Lessor Succor works as expected,
but the text that pops in the middle of the screen says "Entering South Qeynos..." no matter what zone you are casting in.
Cosmetic issue only...

This was answered in Discord. Passing the info to here.
The Spell is now Level 40 and apparently has differences from the Level 1 version (from Live EQ)
I haven't been able to verify this yet (not level 40 yet)
Also, the issue that caused a /EXIT to be necessary, has been addressed and appears to have been fixed.

The Mage "Summon Dagger" spell, when inspected says it is a Level 1 spell.
But when you try to Scribe it, a message displays saying it is Level 40.
ALSO, when you attempt to Scribe this (at least earlier than level 40), it becomes necessary to /EXIT from game to regain control of game.

Could someone please check that "Black Bear Paw" actually drop?
Have killed too many Black Bears in Commonlands to count over the last week and not a single Paw dropped.
Cleric Newbie Gauntlets require ONE
Enchanter Newbie Sandals requires TWO
If they actually exist, then the drop rate is extremely low.

The recipe for the Cap, calls for:
2 Woven Spider Silks
1 Snake Fang
1 Chunk of Meat
and
a Cloth Cap
to be combined in the Enchanter Sewing Kit provided by Shana Liskia
The combine gives the message, "this combine cannot be completed in this container"

Newbie Armor quest---
Selinsa Delfdosan (North Freeport) does not respond to 'Gauntlets'
All other armor molds are delivered as intended.
The 'Gauntlets' issue above has been fixed.
NEW PROBLEM DISCOVERED.
When a combine is done in the 'Gem Encrusted Mail Kit', it POOF'S... requiring you to re-visit the Salinsa after each piece is made.
Other class Newbie Armor quests allow you to keep the Assembly Kit through all of the combines.

Your recipes are correct, I have completed all of the Kelethin Druid Armor (and weapon).
Make sure you are combining those items (unstacked) in the Assembly Kit which the quest-giver gave you.
Once you do this, you will have the Pattern, which you need to combine with the Mold you get from the quest-giver.
This final combine must be done in a loom. I used the one in Felwithe.

I noticed a few days ago that when my character "Spirrit" looted "Spiderling Silk" or purchased them from a merchant, they would not show up in my inventory.
I tested on another char, same account, and it worked fine.
I also looted one (to the cursor) and placed it in my inventory (which works) but any I looted afterward did not stack with it and disappeared as before.
Unsure how many I have lost due to this, and really am not worried about recovering them, but would like this fixed so can loot them in the future for tradeskills.
This is the only item I have noticed so far that does this.

Henka Nakatomi will not respond to "Leggings", or "Tunic" to get the Mold and Ingredients for their combines.
All other armor pieces will give the information.
